What we believe

Statement of faith

These core beliefs unite us. On secondary matters we hold our convictions with humility and love.

Our beliefs

What we hold in common

01

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word — true, trustworthy and our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

2 Timothy 3:16–17

02

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.

Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19

03

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead and is coming again.

John 1:1, 14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

04

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, giving new life, guiding us into truth and empowering us to live for Christ.

John 14:16–17 · Galatians 5:22–25

05

Humanity

We believe every person is created in the image of God and has great worth, yet all have sinned and need a Savior.

Genesis 1:27 · Romans 3:23

06

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not earned by good works.

Ephesians 2:8–9 · Romans 10:9

07

The Church

We believe the church is the family of God, called to worship, grow in Christ, care for one another and share the gospel.

Acts 2:42–47

08

Baptism & Communion

We celebrate baptism and the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience that remember and proclaim what Christ has done.

Matthew 28:19 · 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

09

Eternity

We believe Jesus will return, and God will make all things new. Those who trust in Him will live with Him forever.

John 14:3 · Revelation 21:4

In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love.
